White Chocolate Panna Cotta With Dark Chocolate Sauce
Thursday, July 31st, 2008Delicate & cool with two kinds of chocolate for an easy but elegant & satisfying dessert. From those talented folks at Southern Living.
Panna cotta needs to chill 24 hours before serving. I like to make in ramekins & invert the panna cotta onto serving plates in puddle of warm dark chocolate sauce.
Make the dark chocolate sauce shortly before serving & drizzle it on the cold panna cottas immediately before serving.
Garnish with mint sprigs if you want to gild the lily. — posted by Buster’s friend
Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies
Thursday, July 31st, 2008There’s something about pudding in the mix that makes cookies extra tasty. This recipe is my variation of the one found on the Quaker Oats lid. Even though they are baked, use instant pudding. Use this as a base and play with it! I’ve made these with chocolate pudding and some cocoa in the mix and they were just as good! BTW, I use my PC medium cookie scoop for these cookies. :o) — posted by Patriotic AF Wife
Brownie Bites
Thursday, July 31st, 2008These little gems are very easy to make. I started baking this recipe when my kids were in elementary school and they loved those mini brownies that you can buy 5 to package (Hostess, I think) in their lunch boxes. I didn’t like buying them so I found this recipe and the rest is history. I have never gotten 40 muffins out of this recipe — more like 32. I don’t always put a nut on the top of the brownie bites. I used pecans in the picture because that’s what I had — use your favorite nut. — posted by Lvs2Cook

More Chocolate, Less Cholesterol - Is It Science Or Sales Hype?
