I make various cookies for social gatherings and presents but this is the recipe that people always ask for. After lots of variations I think this is the best recipe I’ve come to. These brownies are lovely, soft and fudgy on the inside and have a crisp top layer. Perfection! — posted by myst_angel

This is a great school snack, as it is full of oatmeal, so it fills the kids up at snack time. This is the original recipe, but I have added sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, raisins, etc to it instead of the chocolate chips. Whatever you add to it is great. These are very similar to a "Monster Cookie" but with no peanut butter - Great for Nut-Free snacks — posted by Scutch

Chocolate and Kahlua is my favorite combination of flavors! I love this pie. You can use either a regular graham cracker crust or chocolate crust…I like chocolate! (Cook time is chill time.) — posted by mydesigirl

This is the recipe from the back of the Nestle Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Baking Bars. I haven’t made it yet, but I plan to. It sounds perfect for around the Holiday time. — posted by senseicheryl

This great appetizer/dessert recipe would be great for a dinner party or the holidays. I love the flavor of hazelnut and CARAMEL, and the two paired together is heaven. The recipe is kind of long, but will be well worth the effort. The cooking time is approximate and includes the refrigeration time. — posted by VickyJ

I found this recipe a while back, and have been meaning to make it FOREVER, but haven’t tried it yet! This has been sitting in my cookbook cupboard for so long, I don’t even remember where I got it anymore! If anyone finds another type of cookie that would be similar to the girl scout cookies, please let me know! I couldn’t make this right away because I didn’t have them! Prep time incluces chill time, and is an estimate, since I’ve never made this! — posted by SrtaMaestra

This is a recipe from Gourmet which I have changed to be even more seductive. It is an incredible cake! There are no shortcuts with this cake, and please, try not to use subsitutions. If you really cannot find buttermilk, stir a tablespoon of lemon juice into full-cream milk and let it stand to thicken. It’s best to see this as a great creative effort, forget about fat and calories, and Just Do It, LOL!! The type of cocoa powder you use does not matter — we only get Dutch process, and it makes the cake even more chocolatey. Don’t refrigerate, it improves on standing. Just keep it in a cool place, covered. — posted by Zurie
